PURPOSE:To stably keep the posture of a body at the time of cornering and improve driving stability by enabling a movable body to be steered in a desired advancing direction and enabling the body to steered in accordance with the angular velocity of the body. CONSTITUTION:As a steering wheel is operated in one direction, front wheels 3A are rotated in that direction by means of a front steering 6 changing the advancing direction of a vehicle body 1 in that direction. At this time, an angular velocity which is generated in the vehicle body 1 is detected by an angular velocity sensor 2. Based on the detected signal, the steering ratio between the front wheel 3A and rear wheel 3B is controlled by a control circuit 8 via front and rear steerings 6, 7. That is, a control valve 11 is operated by means of a step motor 9 and a required quantity of oil is fed to a power cylinder 10 to steer the rear wheel 3B. On the other hand, the angle of the steered rear wheel 3B is detected by a steering ratio sensor 12 and, based on this detected signal, feedback control is carried out by the control circuit 8. |
