PURPOSE:To set cutter face of a drill accurately on a drillbearing table by arranging a drill bearing mechanism on a polish regulating means such that it will make a predetermined angle with respect to a grinding wheel, then arranging a regulatable angular positioning member and a drill rear section positioning member on the drill bearing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A polish regulating means B is planted from the end face of a sliding table A arranged slidably back and forth on a grinding wheel table 1. The polish regulating mechanism B is arranged rollably in advancing and retreating direction of the sliding table A. A drill bearing mechanism C is fixed rollably in horizontal direction such that it will make a predetermined inclination angle with respect to the grinding wheel 1 on the polish regulating mechanism B at a higher position than the axis of the grinding wheel 2. A drill bearing table 24, a chuck member 27, an angular positioning member 31 for setting the rotary angle of a drill D at a predetermined position and a drill rear section positioning member 25 for setting the rear position of the drill D are provided to the drill bearing mechanism C. Edge of the drill D born in predetermined posture by the bearing mechanism C is polished symmetrically by means of the grinding wheel 2. |
