A multi-zone heat pipe type heating plate is provided to improve a temperature maintaining property of the heating plate by combining a rigid first planar heat pipe with a hollow second planar heat pipe. A multi-zone heat pipe type heating plate includes a heat pipe(30) and a heater(50). The heat pipe includes a body plate, which encloses operation fluid(31) therein. The heater heats the heat pipe. Plural partitions(35) for defining heating zones are formed inside the body plate. The heater includes plural heater units for heating individual heating zones, respectively. A fluid path(36) is formed under the partitions, such that the operation fluid circulates in the fluid path. The operation fluid is recollected by using a wick.
