PURPOSE:To generate a proper driving force according to load fluctuation, by enabling a pressure applying force between a driving unit and a driven unit, to be electrically regulated with the application of DC bias voltage to respective piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric driving unit 1 is fixed on a mount 5 so that the displacement directions of a pair of laminated layer piezoelectric-elements 2-3 may be crossed inclined to the driven surface of a driven unit 4, and the displacement is combined together at a displacement combining section 6. At the tip of the combining section 6, a contact driving section 8 is fixed, and a mount is fixed on a base 11 by a fixing means. The driven unit 4 is pressureapplied by a driven roller 40 relatively with the driving unit 1. Besides, the power amplifiers 12-13 of the piezoelectric elements 2-3, a phase converter 14, a high-frequency generator 15, a DC bias voltage generator 19, and the like are arranged. In this case, when the DC bias voltage is applied to the piezoelectric driving unit 1, then the tip is moved in the alignment direction on the surface of the driven unit 4. As this result, a pressure applying force can be applied. |
