PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of displacement, to lengthen a lifetime, to reduce power consumption and to improve reliability by mounting first and second piezoelectric elements onto both side faces of an elastic body in the specified relationship of arrangement. CONSTITUTION:First piezoelectric elements 2 are fitted at regular intervals on the underside section of an elastic body ring 1, and second piezoelectric elements 3 are set up at regular intervals so as to be positioned at the center of No.(2n-1) first piezoelectric element 2 and No.2n one on the top face section of the elastic body ring 1. A rotor 4 is brought into pressure contact with the elastic body ring 1. The directions of polarization of the first piezoelectric elements 2 are reversed alternately, and driving voltage of V1=V0sinomegat is applied respectively. The directions of polarization of the second piezoelectric elements 3 are equalized respectively, and driving voltage of V2=V0sinomegat is applied. |
