Adhesion promoter for plastisols of polymers and/or copolymers of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). These adhesion promoters are polyamino amide resins obtained by condensation or amidification of (a) polycarboxylic acids obtained from the polymerization of unsaturated fatty acids (polymeric fatty acids) preferably having at least 50% trimer by weight and more specifically having the composition 0-2% monomeric fatty acids, 10-50% dimeric fatty acids and 50-90% trimeric fatty acids with (b) an excess of a heterocyclic amine of the general formula: where R is H or an alkylamine group, -R'NH2 where R' is a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon chain.
