PURPOSE:To make the time required for write per one picture element equal to the time required for an arithmetic operation by a DDA by providing a double buffer memory and a timing control means in accordance with each block memory of an image memory. CONSTITUTION:When continuous picture element data are generated successively in the scan line direction from a linear interpolation computing element DDA 1, a prescribed number of picture element data are supplied successively to double buffer memories 21, 22,...2n corresponding to its scan line, and when the prescribed number of picture element data is supplied, the prescribed number of picture element data is supplied again by switching the double buffer memories 21, 22,...2n. Also, while the picture element data is being supplied to one buffer memory, the prescribed number of picture element data is supplied in a lump to block memories 31, 32,...3n from the other buffer memory. In such a way, while always operating the DDA 1, write of the data to an image memory 3 can be executed continuously. |
