A driving system of a multipurpose motor for driving a machine tool is provided to reduce the cost for a motor driver by operating the multipurpose motor using a switch without using the motor driver. A driving system of a multipurpose motor for driving a machine tool comprises a power supply(1), a DSP TMS320F2812(3) and an IPM(Intelligent Power Module)(4). The power supply generates DC 300V or above at a 3-phase 220V and supplies the DC 300V to the IPM such that the DC 300V is used as a driving power for a BLDC motor(2). The power supply generates DC 15V and DC5V to supply power to the IPM and the DSP TMS320F2812. The DSP TMS320F2812 generates a PWM signal to drive the motor using a one-chip microcontroller. The IPM has an inverter therein and controls the BLDC motor by generating an alarm signal.
