PURPOSE:To enhance the damping performance of a hydraulic damper including a bearing structure, by charging grease added with fine grain powder of polytetra-fluoroethylene, between a rod and an oil seal. CONSTITUTION:A rod guide 18, a check valve 19, a seal, member 20, a retainer ring 21 and an oil seal 22 are disposed in the upper part of a cylinder 11 in a hydraulic damper. Grease added with powder of polytetrafluoroethylene is charged between lips in an oil seal 22. This powder of polytetrafluoroethylene is very fine and the friction coefficient of the outer surfaces of the powder is very low so that the friction between a piston rod 24 and the oil seal 22 and between a seal member 20 or the like and a seal part is remarkably reduced. Thus, it is possible to enhance the damping performance of the hydraulic damper. |
