PURPOSE:To obtain the title superconducting material expressed by the formula (Ln1-zGaz)Ba2Cu3O7-x (Ln is Y, La, etc.) with enhanced density of the sintered form or decreased sintering temperature, by making the z-value fall within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The objective superconducitng material expressed by the formula (Ln1-zGaz)Ba2Cu3O7-x (z satisfies the relationship: 0.02<=z<=0.3; Ln is at least one kind of metal selected from Y, La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu) in which the A-site in perovskite has been replaced by the Ga to effect solid solution leading to enabling the density of the sintered form to be increased without deteriorating its properties at equal sintering temperature, also the temperature giving the equal density of the sintered form to be decreased. |
