发明名称 METHOD FOR MOLDING HONEYCOMB-CONTAINING HOLLOW PANEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To make it possible to save the weight of a panel and to increase bond strength between a honeycomb core and foam by a method wherein the honeycomb core is arranged in a mold and resin foam stock liquid is poured in the mold and, after the rotation of the core for the predetermined period of time at comparatively low speed, the rotational frequency of the core is raised so as to balance the centrifugal force by rotation with the blowing pressure of the resin foam stock liquid. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum honeycomb core 1, the dimensions of which are slightly smaller than the internal dimensions of a mold 3, is arranged and enclosed in the mold 3. Under the state that the mold temperature is usually set to 50-80 deg.C, resin foam stock liquid such as polyurethane stock liquid is poured in the mold. After that, the mold is rotated so as to form the uniform film 2 of the resin foam stock liquid 4 in the peripheral side part of the honeycomb core 1. Next, the rotational frequency of the mold is raised so as to give contrifugal force to the polyurethane film 2 to be made in order to control the expansion ratio of the film to the desired value and to expand and harden the film. By controlling the low and high rotational frequencies as mentioned above, the peel strength between the obtained resin foam film 2 and the honeycomb core 1 is changed, resulting in easily obtaining a lightweight panel having the desired peel strength between the foam and the core.
