This apparatus is used for an oven, a heater, and a boiler. The gas controlling part, which controls a electronic open-close valve and an electronic temperature control valve, is composed of a checking circuit which checks malfunction in the gas controlling part, and a fault detecting circuit which closes the electronic open-close valve and the electronic temperature control valve when finding a fault by the checking circuit.
