PURPOSE: To control solar heat, withstanding a high temperature which is reached during a period of usage, by arranging a body colored heat-absorptive glass at the outside and an annealed glass having a coating containing a silver layer at the inside to form a double glass. CONSTITUTION: An outside glass plate 2 is formed by using a body colored heat-absorptive glass containing heat absorptive metal oxide for coloring the glass and having high solar heat absorbing ability. An inside glass plate 3 is formed by using an annealed glass having a coating 4 containing a preset thickness of silver layer on the surface facing to the outside glass plate 2. A spacer 6 is arranged for keeping a preset space between the outside glass plate 2 and the inside glass plate 3 to form a double glass unit. Solar heat is thus reflected or absorbed, reducing the quantity of heat incident into a building. |
