<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a filter cleaning work by providing a nozzle opening near the downstream side end face of a filter. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 22 with its one end opened near the downstream side end face of a filter 12 is provided in a filter container 21. Upon cleaning the filter 12, an engine is stopped and an exhaust conduit 4 is closed by switching the bypass valve 6 of the exhaust conduit 4. The nozzle 22 is connected to a high pressure air force feed system so that the accumulated particulates are blown away to the upstream side by praying high pressure air on the filter 12. Consequently, the filter cleaning work can be performed facility.</p> |
