PURPOSE:To execute the precise specification of the range of an original without moving the original even in case of the original which does not transmit light by designating the prescribed range of the original and deleting the charges on a part corresponding to the designated range at the time of forming an image. CONSTITUTION:In case of copying only the range of PQRS, a cursor shifts a locus by moving the cursor of a liquid crystal panel 3 to a P point, depressing a key 5e and then moving the cursor in order P Q R S. Moreover, when a key 5f is depressed, the liquid crystal in an area which is surrounded with PQRS is closed to be in a state where the light is not transmitted and the range specified by a user is displayed. Since the specified range is displayed on the liquid crystal panel 3, the real original can not be viewed even in case of the original through which the light is not transmitted but the specified range can be viewed. Since the specified range is superposed on the original before display, the specification of the range can be executed regardless of a position where the original is placed. Thus, the specification of the range of the original can be executed without shifting the original even in case of the original which does not transmit the light. |
