<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the replenishing amount of a developer, without inuring rapid processing, and to reduce the change of photographic characteristics of the title material and the generation of a suspended matter in the developer, respectively by developing a photosensitive material with a color developer which does not contain a sulfurous acid ion and contains a prescribed amount of a replenisher. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic sensitive material having at least one layer of a silver halide emulsion layer contg. >=80mol.% silver chloride is contin uously developed with the color developer which does not contain the sulfurous acid ion and contains an aromatic primary amine color developing main agent and the replenishing amount of 120ml said replenisher per 1m<2> a silver halide photosensitive material. The color developer does not preferably contain hydroxylamine, and the applied amount of the photosensitive material is >=1.5g/m<2>. The developer contains preferably org. preservatives. Said preser vatives are exemplified by hydroxylamine derivatives except hydroxylamine, or hydroxamic acids, etc. The additional amount of said preservatives is prefer ably 0.005-0.5mol./l.</p> |
