PURPOSE:To continuously form various kinds of images and to stabilize the image formation by decreasing the variation of the density of the image by executing toner supply to a developing machine based on the unit consumption quantity obtained by a correcting operation based on an image forming condition to the basic consumption quantity determined at every sheet size. CONSTITUTION:When an image is formed once against a form selected in accordance with an original being an object, a unit consumption determining means 2 of a toner supplying device determines the unit consumption quantity (a) by a correcting operation based on an image forming condition at the time when said image is formed, with respect to the basic consumption quantity a0 determined in accordance with a selected form size. In this state, in the process where the image is formed by various form sizes, the means 2 supplies successively the necessary quantity A which is determined, based on the unit consumption quantity (a) which is determined at every image formation of once, to a developing machine 1. A copying machine using this toner supplying device is constituted of a photosensitive drum 20, a light quantity sensor 29, a toner box 31, a dispense motor 35, a CPU 40 and a memory 41, etc. |
