PURPOSE:To facilitate handling of a package for a filter set by folding a thin section part in a flat manner when a contaminated filter set is replaced, by a method wherein the thin section part is formed to the frame part of the filter set of a domestic ventilating fan to provide a hinge function. CONSTITUTION:A frame body 1 incorporates a motor horizontally supported by means of a support arm 2 and a blade 4 coupled directly to the motor, and is provided on the exhaust side of the frame body 1 with a shutter and on the suction side with a cover 6. A filter frame 9 is mounted to the front of the cover 6 in a manner to be removable by means of a lock claw 8 engaged with an engaging hole 7, and a U-shaped filter set 10 is removably mounted to the front of the filter frame 9. A thin section part 11 is formed to the filter set 10 so that a hinge function is provided for a frame part being bent to form a U-shaped fold. Thus, when the contaminated filter 10 is replaced, the filter set 10 is easily bent at the thin section parts 11 to bring it into a flat state. |
