A light emitting device is provided to prevent the image quality degradation by suppressing an electric field distortion around a spacer. A light emitting device includes a first substrate(10), a second substrate(12), an electron emitting unit(100), a light emitting unit(110), a spacer(40), and a central electrode line(50). The second substrate is arranged to face the first substrate. The electron emitting unit is formed on the first substrate. The light emitting unit is formed on the second substrate and includes a fluorescent layer and an anode electrode, which is formed on one surface of the fluorescent layer. The spacer is arranged between the first and second substrates and includes electrodes. The central electrode line is contacted with the electrodes and insulated from the light emitting unit with an insulation layer between them. The central electrode line is formed on a non-light emitting region of the second substrate.
