PURPOSE:To accurately control the environmental temperature of a laser rod without influence of variations in the atmospheric temperature by separately providing a cooling water passage of in exciting lamp and a cooling water passage of the rod in a laser oscillator having the lamp and the rod aligned in parallel in a condenser. CONSTITUTION:The periphery of a laser rod 4 is isolated form a space surrounding an exciting lamp 3, spaces 7 of supports at both ends of the lamp 3 communicate with a condenser 1 through a space surrounding the lamp 3, a cooling water inlet 8a is opened at one of the spaces 7, and an outlet 8b is opened at the other. Both ends of a glass tube 6 surrounding the rod 4 are supported by Teflon blocks 5, one of both ends of the tube 6 is connected to a cooling water inlet 9a provided at the block 5 and the other is connected to an outlet 9b. The lamp 3 and the rod 4 are cooled separately by cooling water passages 10, 11. |
