A spacing screw 1 for fastening construction elements, such as battens, window frames 2 or the like for a building 3 at a distance therefrom, has a short head thread 7 which can be screwed into the construction element 2, a thinner anchoring thread 4 which can be screwed into the building 3, and, formed between these, a cylindrical transition thread 6 which eases screwing in of the thicker head thread 7 by non-cutting material deformation in the construction element 2. <IMAGE>
