PURPOSE:To display a natural and elegant picture which is free from ''roughness'', by specifying the rate of region of a gradation level which is expressed by an image forming element of the highest optical density when the picture information having gradations such as characters, patterns, graphs, pictures, etc. are displayed. CONSTITUTION:The rate of gradation property which is expressed by an image forming element of the highest optical density in formation of an image by an ink jet recording method, etc. is set at <=70% entire area of a region having gradations which is displayed by each image forming elements using different types of ink different in density. In this example, plural types of ink having different color densities are used. In other words, an ink jet head unit 10 is used. In this case, inktanks 8 and 9 having heads 6 and 7 containing different types of ink different in density are connected to the head unit 10. This ensures a display of a wide range of gradations and reproduces pictures with high fidelity. |
