<p>PURPOSE: To enhance gas sepn. efficiency by disposing two adsorption zones consisting of main columns and auxiliary columns arranged in series and execut ing respective stages of adsorption, equalization by a reduced pressure gas and enriched gas, counter current pressure reduction, purging, equalization and repressurization. CONSTITUTION: A gaseous mixture composed of air, or the like passes through the main column A' and the auxiliary column A" from a valve 11 and enriched product gas is stored in a tank 30 through a valve 22. Next, the reduced pressure gas from the outlet of the auxiliary column A" is introduced through a check valve 24 and a valve 17 into the main column B', where the gas is equalized. The product gas is sent through a valve 21 to the auxiliary column B" where the pressure similar to the pressure of the main column B' is attained. The first adsorption zone A is subjected to counter current pressure reduction and is then purged and is equalized reversely from before. The first adsorption zone A is thereafter repressurized by the gaseous mixture so as to be ready for the adsorption stage. The stages described above are successively alternately executed between the adsorption zones A and B.</p> |
