The transfer tank comprises a decompression device consisting of at least one helical spring 6 with adjoining turns 7 fitted on the end part 3a of the conduit 3 emerging into the tank, the spring being closed at its free end and immersed in the liquid of the tank in order to assume, when liquid is fed to the tank, a filter function and, when vapour and/or liquid originating from the tank are discharged, a function of moderation and dispersion of the discharged vapour and/or liquid.
