PURPOSE:To obtain the title superconductive material having a high superconductivity transition temp. and the transition end temp. close to the transition starting temp. by compacting the oxide of a specified rare-earth element, barium carbonate, and copper oxide, sintering the compact in an oxidizing atmosphere, and then annealing the sintered compact. CONSTITUTION:The oxide of a trivalent rare-earth element of Ln having about 0.89-0.92Angstrom ionic radius, barium carbonate, and copper oxide are added with an org. solvent, and mixed. The mixture is compacted. The compact is then sintered in an oxidizing atmosphere for >=4hr, and annealed in an oxidizing atmosphere to obtain the desired superconductive material. The oxide superconductive material produced by this method has a high superconductivity transition temp., and the difference between the transition starting temp. and the transition end temp. is small. |
