A touch screen input recognition apparatus and a method thereof based on the input domain of the touch screen divided into a plurality of areas are provided to identify the input form of the touch screen by using a simple configuration and calculation. The control command is matched and registered by each domain sequence(S10). The touch signal is inputted through a screen input domain(S20). The input domain sequence is generated in case that the touch signal is in a plurality of division domain(S30). The mapping table is checked whether the previously registered domain sequence which is identical with the input domain sequence is stored(S40). The control command matched with the previously registered domain sequence is performed (S70).
