PURPOSE:To make a blower in an anode outlet gas line unnecessary by directly connecting the anode outlet gas line to a reformer and providing a device separating the combustion exhaust gas into water and gas at the downstream position of the combustion exhaust gas line of the reformer. CONSTITUTION:An anode outlet gas line 20 is directly connected to a reformer 8 so as to directly feed the anode gas discharged from the anode 3 of a natural gas reforming fused carbonate type fuel cell 1 together with the moisture contained in the anode gas as the combustion gas of a reformer 8. A device 14' separating the combustion exhaust gas into gas and water is provided at the downstream position of the exhaust gas line 21 of the reformer 8 so that the moisture required for steam reforming and the carbon dioxide required for a cathode 2 can be obtained from the combustion exhaust gas of the reformer 8. A blower in the anode outlet gas line to feed the gas after the separation of gas and water to the reformer can be thereby omitted, and the system can be simplified and the facility cost can be reduced. |
