PURPOSE: To uniformly illuminate the front surface side of a game machine and the entire back surface area of a game display member, by arranging a long-length illumination means parallelly to the side-by-side arranging direction of the game machine and the left-to-right width direction of the game display member. CONSTITUTION: For a fluorescent housing chamber 207, the side of an opening 201 for a window as a space area formed by a square frame is opened and the front part of the fluorescent housing chamber 207, that is the side of the game display member 69, is also opened. Thus, by light from the fluorescent lamp 14a of the same light source, the front surface of a rotary drum at a lower part is uniformly illuminated on one hand and the fluorescent display part 68 of the game display member 69 is uniformly illuminated from the back on the other hand. By arranging a long-length light source parallelly to the side-by-side arranging direction of the game device and the left-to-right width direction of the game display member 69, the front surface side of the game device and the entire back surface area of the game display member 69 are uniformly illuminated. Thus, irritation given to the eyes of a player staring at them is reduced and the fatigue of the eyes is reduced. |
