PURPOSE:To economically produce a reclaimed oil having a high purification degree, by homogeneously dispersing a mixture of diatomaceous earth and active China clay in the waste oil of a mold lubricating oil and subsequently subjecting the resulting dispersion to centrifugal treatment to remove impurities in the waste oil. CONSTITUTION:Preferably approximately 5wt.% mixture of diatomaceous earth and active China clay preferably in a wt. ratio of 3:2-3:7 is added and homogeneously dispersed in the waste oil of a mold lubricating oil used in a cold forging process. The resulting dispersion is treated by a separator normally having a centrifugal force of approximately 1000-3000G (more preferably 5000G) to remove impurities in the waste oil, thereby providing a clear reclaimed oil. |
