The heating body of the appliance consists of a U-shaped pipeline provided with two T connectors 3, 4 mounted on the upper ends of the legs 1, 2 of the U. Each bar of the T is aligned with the associated leg of the U. Two electric immersion heaters are mounted through the bars of the Ts, to extend into the legs of the U. The legs 12 of the Ts of the connectors 3, 4 are connected, one to the inlet pipe and the other to the outlet pipe. The U-shaped pipeline includes, for example, two vertical tubes 1, 2, two elbows 5, 6 and a horizontal tube 7. Each end of the tube 7 is connected to one end of an elbow 5 or 6 whose other end is connected to the lower end of one 1 or 2 of the vertical tubes.
