<p>PURPOSE:To guide a sheet paper to a sensitive body always in the best condition by forming a lower guide provided in the vicinity of the sensitive body and on the upper course side in the paper conveying direction of a transfer zone with two or more members having elasticity and making the elastic modulus thereof variable in accordance with the strength of the sheet of paper. CONSTITUTION:When a thick sheet of paper P2 arrives at the inside of a guide device via a pair of conveying rollers, the sheet of paper P2 downwardly deflects the first guide member 25 having a thickness of approx. 100mum of a lower guide 10 due to its pressing force and, thereby, the first guide member 25 is overlapped on a second guide member 26 having a thickness of approx. 20mum, increasing an elastic modulus as the lower guide 10. As a result, the sheet of paper P2 heads for a sensitive body 1 in the direction restricted by the first and second guide members 25, 26 in a stable posture. Also, when a thin sheet of paper P1 arrives at the inside of this guide device G, only the first guide member 25 is brought into contact with the sheet of paper P1 reducing the elastic modulus as the lower guide 10, to make the sheet of paper P1 head for the sensitive body 1 in a stable posture.</p> |
