PURPOSE:To obtain the silver halide color photographic sensitive material capable of forming a clear cyan image with excellent spectral absorption characteristic by incorporating a coupler composed of a specified compd. in at least one layer of a silver halide emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The coupler shown by formula I is incorporated in at least one layer of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material comprising at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layer mounted on a supporting body. In formula I, R1 is cyano, acyloxy, oxycarbonyl or carbamoyl group, R2 and Y groups are each hydrogen atom or a substituting group, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released by allowing to react with the oxidant of a color developing main agent. Thus, the clear cyan image with the excellent spectral absorption characteristics can be formed, and the obtd. cyan image has the excellent stability against the heat and the humidity. |
