PURPOSE:To obtain the high contrast characteristic of a photographic image, and to improve the dot quality of the title material by incorporating a specified compd. and an amine borane compd. in said material. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material contains at least one of the compd. optionally selected from compds. shown by formulas I-III, and the amine borane compd. In formula I, R<1> is hydrogen atom or formyl group, etc., R<2> is hydrogen atom or acyl group, etc., R<3> is a monovalent org. group, X is pyridine or quinoline ring, (n) is an integer of 0-6. In formula II, Ar is aryl group contg. an antidiffusible group, etc., R is a substd. alkyl group which may be substd. for alkoxy group, etc. In formula III, R31 is an aliphatic or an aromatic group, R32 is hydrogen atom or alkyl group, etc., which may be substd., R33 and R34 are each hydrogen atom or acyl group, etc. Thus, the high contrast photographic characteristic of said material, suppressing the generation of a fog in a dot image, is obtd. |
