PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition, containing a PP based resin, ethylene.alpha-olefin based copolymer rubber and specific organic short fibrous material in a specific proportion and having a high strength, low-temperature impact resistance and good dimensional stability and excellent molding processability. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. PP based resin [preferably having 5-200g/10min melt flow rate (MFR) at 230 deg.C under 2.16kg load], (B) 4-100pts.wt., preferably 4-50pts.wt. ethylene.alpha-olefin based copolymer rubber [preferably ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber having 10-80 Mooney viscosity ML1+4 (100 deg.C)] and (C) 2-50pts.wt. organic short fibrous material having an ethylene.alpha-olefin based copolymer rubber graft bonded to the surface of the fibers through a coupling agent. |
