PURPOSE:To lessen the lowering of smoothing voltage by connecting DC output ends of the first and second full-wave rectifiers to a common smoothing capacitor. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding N1 of a transformer 8 is connected to AC power 1, and a full-wave rectifier 3 is connected to a secondary winding N2 through an inductance element 2. In addition, a full-wave rectifier 5 is connected to a tertiary N3 of the transformer 8 is connected to a full-wave rectifier 5 through a capacitance element 4, and a DC output end of the full-wave rectifier 5 together with a DC output end of the full-wave rectifier 3 are connected to a smoothing capacitor 6. The load 7 is a single stone system inverter which makes high speed switching for a transistor Q1 at a driving circuit CO, and a lamp la is turned on with high frequency. Accordingly, the voltage higher than voltage VDC of the smoothing capacitor 6 is inputted into the full-wave rectifier 3 through the inductance element 2, and a conductive period of current through the inductance element 2 is extended. |
