<p>PURPOSE:To arrange a multiplex unit efficiently by using a partial period in a prescribed period as a communication time for synchronizing time division multiplex communication and applying asynchronizing time division multiplex communication in the remaining period. CONSTITUTION:A contention system transmission/reception section 10 and a time slot system transmission/reception section 11 are connected respectively to a transmission line 5 so as to transmit/receive a signal from/to the transmission/reception sections 10, 11. Then the partial period in a prescribed period is used for communication time for the synchronizing time division multiplex communication of the time slot system and the synchronizing time division multiplex communication in the transmission/reception section 11 is applied in the partial period. The contention system asynchronizing time division multiplex communication is applied with the transmission/reception section 10 in the remaining period in the prescribed time period.</p> |
