A process for the control of a lubricating system of internal combustion engines (1), in particular of injection-type internal combustion engines, the lubricant being circulated from a collecting system, for instance an oil sump (2), by means of a pump (4) via at least one filter (5, 6) to the lubricating points of the internal combustion engine (1) and from there returned to the collecting space, the amount of lubricant being determined in at least one location of the lubricant cycle and the value determined being input into a control means (27) via which the supply of fresh lubricant is controlled, spent lubricant being with-drawn from the lubricant cycle, first collected and then added to the fuel of the internal combustion engine (1), characterized in that the spent fuel withdrawn and collected via the control means (27) is admixed to the fuel of the internal combustion engine when the fuel pedal (14) is actuated and/or a certain number of revolutions per minute is reached. |
