PURPOSE:To eliminate the sticky feel of the rear face of transparent paper by incorporating specific polyethylene (PE) wax into a rear conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The transparent paper for electrostatic recording is constituted by providing a front conductive layer 2 contg. a high-polymer electrolyte and a recording layer 4 contg. an insulating resin and pigment on one face of transparent base paper 1 and providing the rear conductive layer 3 contg. the high- polymer electrolyte on the other face. The PE wax having 15/100-50/100 PE/ paraffin ratio is added at 5-50wt.% to the layer 3. The sticky feel on the rear face occurring in the high-polymer electrolyte is then eliminated without degrading the transparency of the transparent paper and without hindering the conveyability. |
