PURPOSE:To produce combined vibration, by making the length of a long metallic block sufficiently longer than the diameter thereof. CONSTITUTION:In the stator 9 of a supersonic drive, screw holes 1a, 2a are made respectively in the centers of long and short metal blocks 1, 2, and a bolt 3 is screwed therein while two piezoelectric vibrators 4, 5 are held between the blocks 1, 2. Electrodes 6, 7 are held between the piezoelectric vibrators 4, 5 and between the piezoelectric vibrator 5 and the short metal block 2, and an AC power source 8 is connected through terminals 6a, 7a to the electrodes 6, 7. Upon application of AC voltage from the AC power source 8 onto the piezoelectric vibrators 4, 5, bending vibration for causing displacement in the directions of arrows C, D is produced in corresponding position on the side face of the stator 9 for half wave resonance. |
