PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency and to reduce the size, by providing a stator through combination of a radial vibration transducer and a torsional vibration transducer. CONSTITUTION:A radial vibration transducer 41 having a central through-hole, a metal foil 50, a torsional vibration transducer 42 and a metal board 43 are laminated, then they are tightened through bolts and nuts 44-46 thus constituting a motor. The laminated body is designed such that resonant frequencies of radial vibration and torsional vibration will match each other with the ratio between the diameter and the thickness being set to about 2.1. Upon application of an AC voltage having frequency same as the resonant frequency of the laminated body onto two sets of electrode terminals 48, 49, radial vibration and torsional vibration are excited simultaneously. Consequently, oval vibration is excited along the circumference of the laminated body and a resilient ring 47 functions as a rotor to start rotary motion. |
