PURPOSE:To execute the sorting of data at a time point the transferring processing of a highest order digit is finished by repeatedly executing the transferring processing between booth memory areas while a search digit is shifted respectively by one digit from the low order digit of reference information to the high order digit. CONSTITUTION:A sorting circuit 10 includes a sorting memory 12, which has two pairs of memory areas 12-1 and 12-2, and a sorter 14. A pair of reference axis information to be inputted are stored to the area 12-1. The sorter 14 sorting-processes a pair of the reference axis information, which are stored in the area 12-1, which alternatively transferring the information between the areas 12-1 and 12-2. Then, the information are rearranged in the order of a small value or in the order of the large value. A reading pointer 14-1 of the sorter 14 designates the address of the memory area to execute a data reading and one increment is executed each time the reading is executed. A writing pointer 14-2 designates the address of the memory area to execute a data writing and one increment is executed each time the writing is executed. |
