PURPOSE:To stabilize the performance of a bleach-fix bath by constituting a replenishing soln. for the bleach-fix bath of a 1st replenishing soln. contg. a prescribed bleaching agent and fixing agent and a 2nd replenishing soln. contg. a preservative and replenishing the preservative from the 2nd replenishing soln. CONSTITUTION:A color photographic sensitive material is continuously processed by a color developing soln. contg. an arom. primary amine, etc., and the bleach- fix bath and is subjected to a washing and/or stabilizing processing. The above- mentioned replenishing soln. for the bleach-fix bath is constituted of the 1st replenishing soln. contg. the org. complex salt of Fe(III) {e.g. iron (III) ethylenediaminetetraacetate} and thiosulfate and the 2nd replenishing soln. contg. the preservative (e.g. potassium sulfate) and the replenishment of the preservative to the bleach-fix bath is executed mainly from the 2nd replenishing soln. A required amt. of the preservative is preferably incorporated into the 1st replenishing soln. by introducing the overflow liquid of the bleach-fix bath from a processing liquid tank to a 1st replenishing soln. tank. |
