Apparatus for dispensing hot and warm domestic water, comprising an open hot-water storage tank, an open warm-water storage tank and a device for level-controlled cold-water supply. A temperature-controlled electric heating device is arranged on the one hand in the hot-water storage tank and on the other hand in the warm-water storage tank. The domestic water is tapped in a metered manner by means of timing-element control. The hot-water storage tank and the warm-water storage tank are linked together in communicating fashion in their bottom region by a connecting element. The connecting element is constructed as a convection baffle. There is only a single device for the level-controlled cold-water supply. <IMAGE>
