<p>The invention relates to hole-free Bitter bobbins, thereby allowing the making of such bobbins by gluing. Such a bobbin is a machinable monolithic piece. The machining allows a high precision fabrication which is necessary in order to obtain homogeneous magnetic fields. The invention applies essentially to the making of Bitter bobbins (1), Bitter magnets (11). The invention applies particularly to strong and/or uniform magnetic field, to scientific and medical research or to nuclear magnetic resonance imaging.</p> |
