PURPOSE:To efficiently grind-work the upper and lower surfaces of a highly brittle material such as ceramics free from the generation of crack by installing a supersonic wave vibration generator in a grinding plate revolving drive part. CONSTITUTION:The driving shaft 4 of a grinding plate 1 is revolution-driven by a rotary motor 7 in a grinding plate revolving drive part, and the upper and lower surfaces of a ceramics are ground-worked at the same time by the upper and lower grinding plates 1 in pairs. In this case, electricity is supplied into a supersonic wave vibrator 9 installed onto the rotary shaft 4 through a slip ring 10, and the supersonic wave vibration is applied onto the rotary shaft 4 by the vibrator 9. Therefore, the grinding efficiency in the both surface working for ceramics can be improved two-three folds by applying the supersonic wave vibration onto a pair of grinding plates 1 in revolution. |
