PURPOSE:To enable a combined use of a dot printer and a plotter, by a method wherein a pluality of ink pens are arranged to constitute a printing head part, and the ink pens are operated simultaneously or selectively. CONSTITUTION:The ink pens 21a-21g each reserving an ink 12 therein by utilizing the phenomenon of a capillary tube 11 are arranged to constitute the printing head part 14. The ink pens are operated simultaneously or selectively to intermitttently touch a recording paper 20, and the paper 20 and the head part 14 are moved, thereby recording dots. An arbitrary one of the ink pens is selected and is caused to continuously touch the paper 20, and the paper 20 and the head part 14 are moved, thereby plotting a line figure 23. The dot recording and plotting can be arbitrarily selected. |
