PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of a compsn. and the developability by an alkaline developing soln. by using a co-condensed diazo resin contg. an alkoxy group-substd. arom. diazo compd. as a constituting unit. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. contains the co-condensed diazo resin (C) contg. an arom. compd. (A) having a carboxyl group and/or hydroxyl group and the alkoxy group-substd. arom. diazo compd. (B) as the constituting unit. This resin C is obtd. by dissolving the component A (e.g. p-hydroxy benzoic acid) and the component B (e.g. 4-diazo-4'-methoxy diphenylamine salt) in, for example, sulfuric acid and subjecting the soln. to polycondensation under addition of aldehydes thereto. A lipophilic high-polymer compd., dye, etc., may be compounded with this compsn. A photosensitive planographic printing plate is obtd. if the compsn. is coated on an Al sheet or the like. |
