A method for manufacturing a probe pin and the probe pin are provided to improve a frequency characteristic in the probe pin by forming a protrusion unit in a body directly. A probe pin(20) is installed in a housing between a contact pad and a terminal of a test device and connects the contact pad and the terminal. A fitting part(30a) is formed in a cylindrical main body to be protruded to the outside and to be fitted in the housing. A cut part(31) with a predetermined length is formed from an upper part and a lower part of the main body. A plurality of protrusion units(32) are prepared in the upper part of the probe pin. A spring(40) is inserted into the main body. The spring is protruded from the inside to the outside of the main body. |
