The structural body comprises at least one column (1), on which structural elements (8, 9) can be connected laterally in a frictionally locking and positively locking manner. The column (1) is formed by column portions (6) which are positioned one above the other in layers. A core bar (2) extending beyond the height of the column passes through the individual column portions (6) and secures the same with respect to lateral displacement. The column portions (6) are provided with vertically undercut groove-shaped depressions (11), and the structural elements (8, 9), which can be connected laterally thereon, are provided with corresponding protrusions (10).
