PURPOSE:To eliminate a standby time in case of taking a copy at some interval and to prevent a loss of time by providing a light emission continuation control means for generating a command for continuing a light emitting state for a prescribed time without turning off a fluorescent lamp immediately after an exposure scan is ended with respect to a lamp control means. CONSTITUTION:To a fluorescent lamp control part, a signal from a sensor 30 for detecting the light quantity installed in the vicinity of a fluorescent lamp exposure lamp 3 is inputted through a photoelectric converting circuit, and in the course of copy operation executing time, a control for maintaining an actual emitted light quantity of the fluorescent lamp 3 at a target value set by an exposure volume is executed. Subsequently after the copy control is ended, a timer for prescribing a lighting continuation time is set, and in the course of continuation time of the timer, even when a print switch is not inputted, a light state of the fluorescent lamp 3 is continued. In such a way, even in case of taking a copy at some interval, the fluorescent lamp 3 is not cooled, the standby time becomes unnecessary and a loss of time is prevented. |
